Audit your visibility. Write for humans. Optimize for AI search.

Rankings and click-through rates are increasingly vanity metrics. AI citation, whether an AI system trusts your business enough to name it as the answer, is the visibility metric that actually moves business outcomes.

The global influx demands immediate digital positioning. We are securing visibility for Belgrade enterprises before the world arrives.

Global B2B & Professional Services

For mid-to-large firms competing on technical credibility — law firms, engineering practices, logistics platforms, consultancies, and institutional partners. Secure international contracts where it counts, such as EXPO 2027, by making your expertise the answer AI systems give first.

Local B2C Visibility

For small-to-medium local businesses and local service providers across the globe, competing for geographic search — plumbers, motels, clinics, and more. Serbian businesses get the added advantage of preparing early for high-traffic moments like EXPO 2027.

The Shift, By the Numbers

A business can rank #1 and still lose the customer. Rankings measure position on a page fewer people scroll to see the bottom of. AI citation measures whether your business is named at all — and the gap between those two metrics is now the whole game.

AIO Is Our Discipline. For Most Others, It’s a Feature.

AI Optimization (AIO) means structuring a business’s content so AI systems — ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity — cite that business by name as the answer. It is a different discipline from using AI tools to run ad campaigns, a common but separate use of the same acronym. And it can’t be bought: even where AI platforms carry ads, citation and paid placement run on separate systems, so ad spend alone doesn’t make an AI system trust or name a business.

Copy humans read. Content AI cites.

That’s the discipline in six words — writing built to work for a person and an AI system at the same time, not traded off between the two.

Exact Marketing Solutions is built around a narrower, rarer combination: we audit, and we write the copy that earns the citation. The diagnosis and the remediation come from the same strategist, informed by the same findings, closing the same loop — not a scorecard handed to a client to act on alone, and not content produced without a diagnostic behind it.

How It Works

Exact Marketing Solutions presents clients with a repeatable system: audit what’s stopping AI systems from citing you, confirm it with real citation tests, then write the copy that closes the gap.

AI search isn’t a one-and-done fix. The models change, the platforms change, and how they decide what to cite changes with them — a business optimized for today’s landscape can quietly fall behind next quarter’s. Staying ahead of that shift, and making sure our clients stay ahead of it too, is Exact Marketing Solutions’ ongoing commitment.

Citation authority compounds. The earlier a business establishes itself as the answer AI systems trust, the harder that position becomes to displace — competitors trying to out-cite an established authority later face a steeper climb than they would have starting today. Anyone promising a quick win is selling a snapshot, not a strategy; lasting AI visibility is built, not switched on.

Quarterly: The 9-Factor AIO Audit + Technical Crawl

Every quarter, we run the full diagnostic — nine factors, scored, weighted to your business type.

  1. Crawlability — can AI systems technically access and parse your site at all?
  2. Structure — is your content organized the way AI systems extract answers from?
  3. Entity — does your business exist as a coherent, verifiable entity across the web?
  4. E-E-A-T — does your content demonstrate the experience and expertise AI systems weight as trust signals?
  5. Performance — does your site’s speed and stability support reliable crawling?
  6. Off-Site/PR — does independent coverage and backlink authority support what you claim about your business?
  7. Citation Tracking — are you actually being named, right now, across AI platforms?
  8. Institutional/Local Presence — do you show up correctly in the directories and platforms specific to your category?
  9. Conversion Architecture — once an AI system sends someone your way, is your site built to convert them?

Alongside the audit, a full technical crawl checks the mechanics AI crawlers actually rely on — missing or duplicate H1s and titles, broken internal links, missing meta descriptions, slow-loading images, orphaned pages with no path in, and security headers AI crawlers check before they trust a site enough to cite it.

Monthly: Citation Tracking

Every month, we run 10 search queries across 4 AI models — Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and ChatGPT — and swap the query set to match what’s actually being asked surrounding your business’ aims and objectives.

Conversions matter more than vanity metrics — every query is chosen to test whether AI systems point real prospects your way, not just whether your name comes up.

Built Around Who’s Actually Asking

Before we test a single query, we define the specific audience archetypes who actually ask AI systems about your business — not a generic checklist. The number and composition scale to the client, from three archetypes for a single-location business to five or more for an institutional client with multiple stakeholder groups, across whichever markets that client actually serves.

These illustrate examples of Exact Marketing Solutions’ Audience Archetypes — fully customized to your target prospects — that make up our monthly 10-Citation Tracking Audits, built to direct AI systems to your business as the answer.

The Fix: Copywriting Built From the Findings

Every gap the audit finds and citation tracking confirms gets a specific piece of copy written to close it — not a generic content calendar. Depending on what your audit and tracking surface, that might mean:

  • Website and landing page copy structured for AI extraction
  • Blog posts and thought-leadership pieces built around the queries your archetypes actually ask
  • White papers and long-form authority content
  • Press releases and Google Maps PR to strengthen off-site presence
  • eNewsletters that reinforce citation-worthy claims over time

Human in the Loop. Ingenuity on the Global Stage.

In the spirit of EXPO 2027’s “Play for Humanity,” we challenge the scepticism surrounding artificial intelligence. True innovation doesn’t replace the expert; it scales their reach.

We deploy Agentic AI the way engineers use AutoCAD: as a precision instrument that amplifies — instead of replacing — human expertise. This translates to a highly leveraged marketing strategy that ensures our tailored copywriting solutions support your business’ dominance in local and global visibility.

Exact Marketing Solutions operates on a three-part AI collaborative model with human judgment holding final authority throughout. AI-augmented systems handle the work that benefits from consistency, speed, and monitoring at scale. Anywhere a task calls for judgment AI can’t verify on its own, it goes through a qualified human review gate before it reaches a client.

The company’s own visual identity carries the same argument: the logo was created by a human graphic designer — a deliberate choice made despite founder-level fluency in generative AI tools. Our “A” logomark fuses the lambda symbol (the shorthand of modern technical ingenuity across mathematics, programming, and AI) with the silhouette of an engineering compass (a timeless, human-operated tool, ever-transforming to do new and meaningful work). Where judgment, craft, and trust are at stake, we always choose a human collaborator. Our proprietary 9-Factor AIO audits and technical English copywriting ensure that when stakeholders ask the AI, your business is the cited authority.

Algorithmic Positioning FAQs

Why is my organic traffic dropping even though my SEO is solid, and how do I get it back?

Search is splitting into two different jobs. Traditional SEO competes for clicks on a results page. A growing share of queries are now answered directly inside AI Overviews, ChatGPT, or Perplexity — no click required, and position-1 click-through rate has dropped 58% when an AI Overview appears (Ahrefs, December 2025). Winning clicks back with more of the same SEO tactics doesn’t work, because the traffic didn’t move to a competitor’s link — it stopped clicking at all. The fix is optimizing for citation instead: structuring content so an AI system names your business directly inside the answer. A citation functions as visibility even without a click, and some share of that does convert to direct visits at no ad cost.

Is it called AIO, AEO, or GEO — what’s the difference?

They overlap more than they differ. AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) focuses on becoming the direct answer to a specific question. GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) focuses on how generative AI models represent and recommend a brand across a conversation. We use AIO (AI Optimization) as the umbrella term because it also covers a category neither AEO nor GEO was built to describe: AI agents that search, compare, and even purchase on a person’s behalf, not just AI systems answering a person directly. Note that “AIO” is also used elsewhere to mean Google AI Overviews specifically — when we say AIO, we mean the broader discipline, not that one feature.

Is it possible to get client conversions without website traffic?

Yes. When an AI system names a business directly in its answer, the person asking already has the name, the recommendation, and often enough context to call, book, or buy without visiting the website — the conversion can happen with zero recorded site traffic. Standard analytics won’t show this unless citation tracking is built in separately, which is why traffic-only reporting increasingly understates real demand.

How does public sentiment affect AI search visibility?

More than most businesses realize, and increasingly more than keyword density does. Keyword injection — stuffing a page with target terms — used to be enough to influence ranking, but it does nothing to influence whether an AI system trusts a source. AI engines cross-reference what a business claims about itself against independent sentiment from sources like Google Reviews and Reddit threads, which are far harder to fabricate at scale than a page’s wording. Reddit, Wikipedia, and YouTube combined account for roughly 24% of all sources ChatGPT cites. A business can write anything on its own site; consistent sentiment across independent sources is what AI treats as evidence.

Why does ChatGPT give a different answer than Gemini or Perplexity for the same question?

Because each platform searches a different corner of the internet. Multiple 2026 citation studies, including an analysis of 680 million AI citations, found that only about 11% of domains are cited by both ChatGPT and Perplexity for the same query — meaning roughly 89% of what one model cites is invisible to the other. Being visible in one AI model says very little about visibility in another; each has to be measured and addressed on its own terms.

Why does AI search visibility vary by language and country?

Because each model draws on a different mix of sources, training data, and real-time retrieval by region and language, there’s no single shared index the way Google has one ranking algorithm. A March 2026 study by Profound, analyzing 3.25 billion citations across 7 models and 14 countries, found that query language is often a stronger driver of citation differences than geography alone, and the two interact in opposite directions depending on the model. A business visible in one language or region cannot assume it’s visible in any other without testing each combination deliberately.
